- Onsite Consultation
During this time you will discuss budget, your ideas, and dreams for your outdoor living space. Our designer Rodney will make suggestions, and/or recommendations according to your input. If a formal plan is necessary, the designer will discuss the cost of the plan with you. Half the design fee is due at this time and the other half when the plan is presented to you.
- Design and Estimate
Our designer will give you a reasonable time frame with which you can expect to hear back from him. If you have new ideas or concerns during this time, please call and inform him. Once your design is complete, you will meet with your designer to finalize your design and estimate.
- Schedule Installation and Material Selection
At this time you will be given an estimated week installation could begin. Because landscaping is very dependent on weather, changes to your installation time frame may occur. If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible. Once you are happy with the layout of your outdoor living space, it is time to choose the right materials to fit your style. Many people leave this to the designer but we invite you to help with selections.
Now it’s time for the work to begin, remember sometimes it looks worse before it looks better. The first day the crew will arrive and begin laying out the project. Our designer is routinely onsite during construction, managing and working with the crew. This ensures accuracy and minimizes delays. Anytime you have a question or concern, please call Rodney, so we can keep the process working smooth. If you have young children or pets, please try to keep them away from the construction zone. Half the project cost is due on the first day of installation.
- Final Walk Through and Payment
On the last day of installation, the designer will attempt to complete a final walk-through with you before the crew leaves. This is very important because we can make any changes, repairs, etc. while the crew is still on site. Full payment will be due upon substantial completion of your project.
- Ongoing watering, fertilizing, and trimming to protect your investment
Now it’s your turn. The first year is very crucial for establishing your plant material. We have planted, watered, and fertilized the plants but they still need your help. Unless your underground irrigation system was designed with a designated plant zone, it won’t give the proper water the plant materials need. So water your plant material and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
